In commemoration of National Ice Cream Month!

In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, Albizu University announces its Ice Cream Meet & Mingle Open House.

AU’s Miami Campus will host the Ice Cream Meet & Mingle Open House on Wednesday,  July 19, 2017, when prospective students and guests will be treated to free ice cream cups from 4 to 8 p.m. The Open House allows ice cream lovers to enjoy their favorite treats around the campus while attending informative sessions about AU´s academic programs, financial aid options, and admission requirements.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month, recognizing ice cream as a fun and nutritious food that is enjoyed by over 90 percent of the nation’s population and calling for all people of the United States to observe these events with «appropriate ceremonies and activities.» About 10 percent of all the milk produced by U.S. dairy farmers is used to produce ice cream, contributing significantly to the economic well-being of the nation’s dairy industry.
