Albizu University’s Office of Academic, Career, and Advisement Services (ACAS) at the Miami campus and Academic Counselors Office at the San Juan campus assist students in developing and exploring their career options and empower them with the necessary skills to successfully enter the job market in their chosen fields.
From the day you enroll at AU until the day you graduate, you will have access to individualized career counseling as well as to an employment database that will help you find a local job that’s right for you. The Academic Counselors Office at the San Juan campus also posts employment and internship opportunities on Facebook and other sites. On the Miami campus, the ACAS Portal offers hundreds of employment opportunities as well as career-related information.
At our office, you will work with career specialists who will help you develop effective job search tools and the skills to succeed in your chosen career. Our services include assistance with resumes, cover letters, and thank you letters and with interview preparation, including mock interviews. In addition, you will have access to a variety of tutorial seminars through our portal, including:
