Certification

Albizu University is approved to provide the coursework leading to state certification in Early Childhood Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and to Reading Endorsement for elementary school educators. Students completing a program leading to certification are reminded that while the curriculum of the program is designed to assist students in obtaining certification by outside agencies, the completion of all program requirements does not guarantee automatic eligibility for certification.

The Bachelor in Elementary Education degree program is developed in accordance with the teaching certification requirements of the Florida Bureau of Teachers’ Certification (FBTC). The curriculum offered complies with the required FBTC standards.
