Program Highlights

The MBA program at AU is offered in a nontraditional “fast-track” delivery format in the  Entrepreneurship concentration. Our “fast-track” MBA students complete one cluster of three courses per academic session. The format is uniquely designed so that you attend classes once a week and complete one intensive course at a time. This permits you to receive in-depth training in one subject area before moving on to the next.

AU’s MBA program provides a convenient schedule of evening and weekend classes that will allow you to earn your degree from a regionally accredited university without overlooking the demands of your career and busy family life.

Our curriculum is designed to transform you by expanding your ideas, knowledge, and capabilities. Case discussions, lecture series, and in-class teamwork provide you with the practical skills needed for today’s work environment and with the theoretical knowledge that will empower you to lead organizations in today’s multicultural and global environment.

Most importantly, you will have an opportunity to expand your horizons by learning the following key curriculum objectives:

Perspectives: You will have an opportunity to complete courses such as Ethics in Management and Strategic Leadership in order to give you the broad context of managerial issues.

Foundations: You will be provided with groundwork, such as how to use accounting to understand the performance of a company or how to build models and use economic theory to project future outcomes.

Personal Leadership: You will develop self-awareness of your strengths, weaknesses, and identity, coupled with an understanding of the factors influencing leadership styles and how to best apply them.
