The clinical Internship is a 40 hour/week, full-time, full year of employment. All Goodman Center Interns are considered Temporary Employees of Carlos Albizu University and as such are not eligible for paid vacation, sick time, or Federal holidays. However, full-time Interns are able to take five days of sick time and five days of vacation leave, in addition, they are off during institutional recess (two weeks during December). Vacation leave time must be approved by the Chief Psychologist. Interns will not be allowed to take vacation leave time at the same time. Presently, the Internship stipend for Goodman Center and Camillus House is $20,000 plus Social Security and Medicare benefits for each full-time Intern.
